Shipping a car or automobile to Lagos, or any port in Nigeria can be a complicated process. Its important to get all of your paperwork done properly. A Clean Report of Inspection (CRI) is required to import goods into Nigeria. In order to be issued a CRI, you must start by filling out a Form M from any Nigerian bank. The process to import a car or automobile into Lagos, or any port in Nigeria is as follows:
1. Complete form M, filled out at any Nigerian Bank
2. An inspecting agent will be assigned to the exporting country
3. The inspecting agent will assign a date to inspect the car shipment in the exporting country.
4. After the inspection of the shipment is completed, a CRI is issued. The CRI will list all items to be shipped and the fees/duties to be paid in Nigeria.
6. The inspecting agents in the exporting country then sends the report to customs in Nigeria as well as the bank where the form M was completed.
7. The bank informs the importer they can go ahead with importing the car or automobile.

I am not sure what the duties are, but as far as I know there is no age limit for Nigeria You can ship your car to Lagos Nigeria as old as you want
The only thing is the new rule for shipping cars to Nigeria is Cargo Tracking Note (CTN)
It needs to be filed before the car gets to Lagos Nigeria
